Following nearly three years of engagement with the London Borough of Southwark, the GLA and the local community, Berkeley has submitted a new planning application for the mixed-use redevelopment of the Aylesham Centre, Peckham.
The proposals align with the principles set out in the site allocation (NSP74) and the design brief agreed with LB Southwark in Summer 2023, as well as responding to the feedback received throughout the pre-application and consultation process.
The application is currently being reviewed by the LB Southwark Planning Authority as part of their consideration of the formal validation process, which means it won’t appear on Southwark’s planning portal just yet. We will notify you once the application has been validated and is available to view. We will also update the community website with further information about the application; including links to the submitted planning application and associated documents. In the meantime, please feel free to look through the selection of new CGIs showing the exciting new public spaces that are being proposed.
We’d like to take this opportunity to thank you for your time and input throughout the consultation process which has helped shape our proposals. The team will continue to welcome visitors to the consultation hub at Unit 15a The Aylesham Centre, Peckham, SE15 5EW (Tues 1-5pm Fri 9-1pm).
Should you require any translations or have any questions or further feedback relating to our proposals, please do not hesitate to contact us via hello@theayleshamcentre.community.
